Trunk release doesn't work?

My trunk button don't work. The key one does, but the actual button under the steering wheel does not do aaaaaaanything. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check the trunk lock switch in the glove compartment.

If it's not the switch in the glove box, check the fuse. Last, you may have a bad switch like I did. If that's the case, it's plug and play for the replacement part. Also, there are a few threads on this topic.

have you taken the lower dash panel off (panel under the steering wheel). may have broken the switch itself.
