Anyone here have any issues closing the trunk? I was at costco the other day and I saw this guy with a TL fighting with his trunk to close it. I thought to myself, damn whats up with that?

Then just today I was dropping a friend off at the airport and he kept trying to close mine but couldnt. It looked like the door locks on the first attempt but then when you try to reopen it then shut it it worked. Hell I dont know, maybe its just me, just wondering if anybody had this same issue.

yes I searched trunk and couldnt come up with anything similiar.

 

Try adjusting the black rubber stoppers. The gap might be too big for the locking mechanism to lock in properly when you shut it.

although our trunk is completely lined, it is very suceptible to big volume loads in trunk. It has less height clearance than you think as well as if you hit anything near latch, trunk will vibrate left to right.

I use my TL partially for business and I always load trunk full every weekend.

 

Yeah i had that issue b4 when i first got the car but then it just went away after i took the trunk apart to install the LED lights and neon tube light. It prob is the black rubber stoppers like Pure Adrenaline said.
