Ok AZ I have a 2007 TL Type-S WDP w/ Taupe interior. My bezel trim around that houses the HFL was busted when the old owner basically ripped it out breaking all the plastic tabs that allow you to secure it to the roof line. I have called acura and had them send two different replacements, but using my vin only a gray and black piece show to be available. The gray is at least a few shades off and obviously the black is not a match seeing a mine is i guess "taupe"... So I had them send what was supposed to be I believe a light cream ivory and it was much closer to tan. Is anyone familiar with this piece and what color code or 5 digit part # it is, they cant find it and the piece doesn't have any usable number markings I tried them all. Thanks

Oh didn't read that you tried light cream, then light tan looks to be the ticket!

 

Those appear to be 04-06 bezels. Problem there is no holes for the bluetooth mic and i am not sure if the HFL and bluetooth pieces mount the same in the 04-06 bezel

 

sorry not bluetooth, but the mic none the less..

 

Do you even still use your HFL?

 

If you can't find a match, honestly i'd just get some sugru/epoxy/plastic filler and start making your own fixes.. I'm not sure why there are no "Type S" specific bezels, You can always try ebay /car-part.com to see if maybe someone is selling theirs or go to a nearby junkyard if you really want it.

 

Yeah I was holding that as a last resort, but its looking like that may be the best solution for continuity.
