Trany fluid spill, and funky smell

I was driving up the mountains when my engine gave off a terrible smell. My oil temp went up super fast, but i just changed the oil a month ago. And after i let my car sit for 10 minutes the temp went back down. There was also smoke coming from under the hood.. the fans were running. Also i had my uncle following me and he said there was smoke and oil coming out of the exauhst. I let my car sit for 10 minutes and everything stopped except for the smell, which is still occuring. Both oil and trany fluid are at good level.

Has this happend to anyone, or does anyone have any information that would help?

I do have a cai in it too.

Coolant?

What color is/was the smoke --- more blue-ish or more white? Or more like steam and not smoke?

Coolant smells awful when it burns/over-heats.

It was more whiteish, and steamy. it is probly the collant because i have not flushed the fluid.

When this happend i put a little water in the coolant resavor thing and it went back to normal. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt something too serious

well it sounds pretty serious to me! That is not normal by any means. Liquid coming out of the exhaust on a hot car? you need to see if there is any coolant in your crankcase or oil in your radiator. temperature going down after only 10 mins is odd too. you talking water temp not oil temp I assume your stock as far as gauges. Is your coolant level now high in the overflow bottle since you added water?

How is the coolant level? Don't check it hot.
