I had my transmission rebuilt back in June by Five Star Transmission in Amarillo,TX. For the past month or so it's been shifting the exact same way as it used to. Hard 2-3 and 3-4 shifts about 70% of the time and about once a week I get a real hard downshift (usually happens while braking downhill). It feels like the car is not shifting soon enough and just keeps the RPM's up and up.....bam then shifts and kinda tosses you forward in your seat a bit. It's definitely noticeable and it's uncalled for. My damn '03 F150 shifted 10x smoother.

I just called the shop to get another copy of my receipt and a list of work done b/c I can't find mine. They stated that it was a full rebuild and that pretty much everything was new. I'm thinking they didn't change the pressure switches as that seems to be the problem associated with this. Being that it's about 6months into my 1yr warranty, I want to start finding the fix asap so the year doesn't come and I'm SOL. Has anyone had a rebuild and still had problems this soon after the work???
