05'/5AT When I step on the gas and the RPM's hit 4,000 to 5,000, I let the gas go and it stays on the RPM's that it reached for a couple of seconds before it shifts. Almost like it hesitates to shift. It doesn't happen with regular speeds though. Does anybody know what it can be?

 

stop lifting to shift- you are sending conflicting instructions to the computer
If you want to rev it out- do that! and it will auto upshift for you in D5
