hahaha. you're just being picky -> that's normal man. and no it won't exactly go away, but getting new tranny fluid helps (well at least in my case cause i'm at 27,000) and if you ease off the gas pedal a little bit everytime the car shifts (especially between 1st and 2nd), the car will "learn" your driving habits and in a little while, that "jerky" shift you got there will go away.
i know every car has a slight jerk, but this is a little MORE than other cars i have driven, the car also has 60,000 miles so i don't want to be purchasing a car with a faulty transmission and have to replace it...

Do not ease off the gas when trans hits shift point- its designed to smoothly make the transition- thats why its called automatic - even at redline
-Aspec-
heck of a first car- did you buy it yet?
The trans DOES shift a little hard and has higher rev shift point from 1st to 2nd ONLY when COLD- like overnight parked. That should go away after a few minutes/miles.
Its designed to help warm everything up.
Keep in mind that a prior owner may have beat the crapola out of the trans- being an Aspec and all seems to encourage that sort of driving.
You would be out of normal warranty , and the extended trans warranty is only for the earlier year cars.
