Good evening fellow ziners,
I purchased the 04 tl and wanted to know more about the pressure switches and which ATF fluid works best with the car oem, redline, or Amsoil? Car up shifts and down shifts smooth other than 2nd to 3rd gear up shift is noticeable. Any advice would be really appreciated.

 

What up and welcome. I always say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Change fluid regularly. Fill it with Honda fluid, as for trans fluid all you mention are great fluids. Just go with Honda fluid in my humble opinion. Drain and fill regularly and never ever and I mean ever let anyone flush it. Power flushing it's no Bueno. Just drain and fill. What comes out which should be about 3 or so quarts goes back in. Make sure your level is good. Drive happy. The 3x3 works well. That's what most as Erik the car guy says on these here forums do. My fluid has always been done by Acura and is clean. So I do drain and fill x 1 every 30 or so thousand.
