So last week out of nowhere my transmission started to slip. Car had been running completely fine for years. I checked the transmission fluid level and it was low so i filled it until it was where it needed to. Didn’t empty or change anything due to no mechanics currently being open.

Car ran completely fine and much better for a week until today. After about 15 minutes of driving, car will just rev up when coming to stops, which leads to me pulling over turning off the car for 5 minutes and it runs fine again.

It is now having very clunky gear shifts that jerk the car. Any idea what the problem can be?
