Ive been reading the Transmission posts for a few weeks now and if this is there I'm an idiot....

I have noticed a strange 3rd to 4th pulsating feeling when my car shifts gears at LOW speed with very LITTLE throttle.

Under Normal or even Hard Acceleration I have not noticed the same pulsation feeling but It is showing some signs that an issue is on the rise....

First thing that I did was take it to the dealer and had the tranny fluid changed... This fixed the problem for a little while and now its returning....

What do you think this issue could be? Im going to try changing the 3rd and 4th gear sensors but I'd like to get some opinions on this...

Ok... 3rd and 4th gear sensors then the Transmission filter which I found in the DIY and then Im going to change the fluid 2 more times... getting it done this weekend so Ill keep you posted!

 

I had the same problem and Acura dealership flushed it for me on monday this week. Since then, I dont feel the slipping anymore. Not to say that this is what fixed it, but its worth a shot.

 

I had Acura do the same thing about a month ago and the problem went away only temporarily... It came back after about 3000 miles.

I went and bought the 3rd and 4th gear Pressure sensors yesterday along with the transmission filter and Im going to replace everything this weekend and also going to switch from the Z1 to the Redline racing formula.

Acura sold me the wrong parts those bastards!
