Hello everyone, I’m currently new on here:3. But I have an Acura TL 06 with 146xx miles. I recently just blew my transmission and need a new one I called a shop and said it would be 4,500 to get it fixed. Is it worth getting the transmission fixed or just selling the car how it is? Everything els works perfectly fine. Just needing a 2nd opinion or more

 

I'd suggest searching more on the site to better understand your options, costs, and then you need to think through the value to you. There are other options than just having a shop do a rebuild for $4-5k.
