Tranny going out?

Lately I've been hearing alot of whirring when accelerating and decelerating... also when i transition from a full stop to in motion, i notice that my car jerks a little, same to when i go from reverse to drive. im only at 83k miles btw. any insight on whats the problem?

the noise may be nothing to worry about just regular wear
the jerk - try resetting the ECU (or unplug the ground for the night, and look up idle re-learn procedure)

at 83K though i'd replace the AT filter, just to be safe (not sure what year you have, either 07 or 08 moved the filter inside the AT, so it's not a DIY thing anymore)

most AT problems with our cars happen in 3-4-5 gears, pressure switches being yet another maintenance item Acura does not recognize

1 and 2 would be a rare case
