Traction control / VSA stuck on

did some searching and found that this might be a wheel sensor but my problems a bit more severe

little back story ..2004 6spd ... while driving the past few weeks the car seemed to lack "something" while accelerating , almost seemed as if something was holding it back .. weird feeling kinda hard to explain almost like driving into a strong headwind

well today on the highway the VSA light kicked in along with the triangle ! light.. whats different about my situation is that its as if the traction control was on and wouldnt let me accelerate past 3k rpms .. i had to very slowly get back up to highway speed just to make it to an exit. Turned the car off and let it sit which fixed the problem, reason for the post is now this is the 2nd time this happened this week so i know its not just a fluke problem.

any thoughts before i get a chance to bring it in ?? can i pull a fuse for the time being and just deactivate the system for the time being ?? thanks for any input you guys have

Have you tried just pushing the button on the left to disable VSA?

Sounds like an app sensor problem.

I agree with Roof:

Part number you'll be looking for is:37971-RBB-003.

Common problem on these TLs, there's a thread about it somewhere around here.

My App sensor threw a "bad throttle body" code. My mechanic replaced 3 of them until I read about the app sensor on here.
