Torque converter

Is it a big job to replace the torque converter on a 2012 TL?

It's big enough... You have to remove the transmission to get to it. With that said it's definitely doable if you are even slightly mechanically inclined and have worked on cars in the past. The tools I had to invest it were a good impact gun and an engine hoist. These things might not be necessary but will make your life a hell of a lot easier.

Check out my thread on my transmission swap

it can be a pain in the ass especially if it's sh-awd I just finished up doing a SH-AWD torque converter under warranty....the sub frame has to come down unless u plan on removing the motor and tranny out the top but if u never done a job like this before then I highly recommend letting sum body who has more experience doing these jobs help u cuz shit can messed up real quick and nothing is cheap on these things to replace if u break something...it's not a 96 civic ya know lol
