My TL s been having this problem for a while now, the tighten screen keep on displaying, i even replace the gas cap and it still going, anyone know what is going on?

 

AFAIK there's a software update available from the dealership?

 

Connect an OBD2. read the code. The code for the evap system, small leak, is also triggered by loose gas caps while fueling up. It could be the gas cap, the evap hoses, filler neck, or the canister if the code is the same. If not, it is electrical. Check OBD2 codes first. Go to advanced auto parts, if you have one, and get them to read it for free.

 

It's most likely the EVAP Canister purge valve. Order the new made in japan part and get it replaced. Should not take more then 15-20 minutes to change.
