I have a 05 TL (39K miles). My steering wheel feels a little tighter than usual. I recently had an alignment. Could this be the power steering fluid or is it something else?

 

First things I would be looking into is if you have plenty of PS fluid. Next thing do you hear your pump making noise. An alignment usually doesnt make your steering tighter (none that I have noticed). I would check the PS fluid/pump first and go from there. Unless the alignment dude you took it to messed something up which could be a possibility.
