Thump/clunk from passenger side floor

At low parking lot speeds after turning a corner I and returning strait I would heard this sorta clunk clunk noise very faint I thought it was stuff moving around in my glove box or console. Today I cleared everything out and had my fiance ride in the car and I was able to replicate the sound and it was almost like something was bumping the bottom of the floor on the passenger seat! I haven't had a chance to actually get under the car but it seems like its pretty far up like up parallel to my shifter (I have a manual by the way) Not really typical noises I have experienced with ball joints or axles in the past or a rack for that matter. I really hope none of these could be the issue at 40K!! Well I have about 20 days on my factory warranty but I would like to get opinions first has anyone experienced a similar issue?

I've been fighting a similar sound... clunk, clunk, clunk at low speeds, especially when taking off or stopping, sometimes when turning. Dealer tried to diagnose on my last trip in, but could not find the noise. He did make me aware of the 'shift-lock' mechanism. Now I hear it, too ... didn't before. Eager to see how this thread progresses.

Sounds very similar to loose lugs. I know that sound all too well

Check the passenger seat itself-- if it shifts at all, that's the problem.
Several members had slightly loose or defective seat rails.

I have the same issue and I have not been able to find the source.
