Tensioner Pulley question...
I replaced my tensioner pulley which went bad and was causing a screeching noise when put under load, the problem went away for a while but the same noise seems to be coming back again. I was wondering if its normal for the tensioner pulley to vibrate or should it rotate smoothly like all the other pulleys?
When i looked closer while the belt was turning i noticed that it's not sitting centered on the pulley and it might be there where the belt might be catching the side a little making it to move left and right... just assuming. I also noticed that my power steering pulley is not rotating smoothly either, it looks a little bent and wobbles just slightly... im thinking that it might be the reason the belt is not centered on the tensioner pulley when running.
is it hard to take off the power steering pulley off of the pump to replace it ?? i checked the price and its not that much for the pulley itself.
