Hey guys,
-I recently installed tein ss coilovers for my car with factory top-hats and when driving my car hits very hard when i hit a bump or pothole. its not the adjuster(to stiff it or make it soft) I know my shocks arent blown because i took it off to test it. I am lowered to my tires. Also the coilovers are not for my car they are for 2004+ tsx but they fit perfectly.
-Another thing is when i drive at a angle going up a driveway one of my tires is up in the air. is that normal?
- last thing do you guys know how much to turn the stiffness of the shocks.i heard 16 on the front and 20 on the rears?is that correct. i want it to ride exactly like stock but lowered.

oh and my top-hats are tight so that cant be the problem. I checked them all (the screw in the middle of the top hat)
please help i been getting headache of the hard ass hit on bumps

 

open your hood and see if you have any marks above your front coilovers location, under the hood. sounds like to me the upper control arm is smacking against the shock tower. how low are you exactly and what is the damper set at? try stiffening it up a bit.
