Taking apart center console?

How hard is it to get the console apart (in the area of the stick shift)?

Let's just say there was a beverage in the car today which decided it preferred to be outside the cup. I've cleaned everything, and I pulled off the faux-carbon cover that's just past the seat heater switches, but it looks like some smoothie (blech, I know) got down through the holes in the next layer of plastic. I've tugged all I consider wise and it hasn't budged.

Is it worth going to the dealer to have them take it apart? How many thousands of $ would they charge me to do that, I wonder . . .

Thanks.

Click here to see for yourself.

Just be careful with the aluminum molding strips.
