Taillight spray

I'm trying to take the taillight tint spray off of my taillights and i'm not sure what product to use. I see people always saying different products and then someone else says how that product melts the taillight or leaves them foggy, can someone help me out here and let me know of a product that wont damage my taillight, preferably someone who's actually used the product themselves.

thanks guys

to get something off, you need to know what was applied.

so, if it was paint applied, try nail polish remover.
anything that removes Paint WILL be harmful to your plastic tail lights, just fyi....
so, you're right in the assumption that applying a chemical WILL burn your tail lights.

sanding it off and polishing the lights would be another option.

Honestly if I were you just buy some new or use tail lights (check black market).

I do agree that we need to know what was applied to the tail lights.
