Suspension problem
Ok.... I need some help here!! I went on a trip last weekend with some friends and drove my acura. We had some slush and snow on the ground for the first part of the trip. I had 4 adults in the car as well as a trunk full of luggage. I noticed on the highway that the rear end of the car was very loose and if I hit any slick spots when hitting bumps or going over bridges the back end would start to kick out and I would start to loose control of the car. Also, the guy sitting drivers side rear could hear the strut bottoming out on bumps. Once the roads dried up it was still there but because the roads were dry the tires gripped and I had complete control of the car. With no one in the car it seems fine but maybe a little spongie. My TL has 62K. Do you think that my struts are bad and need replaced or that maybe I have a bigger issue?? Any suggestions would be helpfull!! Thanks!!

Don't forget that with an extreme amount of added weight in the TL, the rear will naturally settle down and change the rear wheel geometry, in other words, the tires will not make full contact with the road surface and will not handle as well, and with the prevailing road conditions, that just adds to the problem. At the low mileage of 62k I certainly wouldn't think that the shocks need replacement given that there is no problem noticed when unloaded, but eyeball the shocks just for a double check.
As the manufacturer's recommended inflation pressure is based on the load capabilities of the vehicle, I'd make certain it's dead on before any trip.

Yes check the end links for sure if you are lowered. My car started feeling like this and I checked the endlinks and that was the problem. Also I noticed this with a 3G tl even when everything is all good. But not that drastic. There was a thread about a loose feeling of the back end at high speeds. Maybe it's even in the garage section.
