I have an 04 TL... was trying to close the sunroof today and it came all the way back to close but then just reversed to open again. I tried several times and the same thing happened -- finally closed after about 6-7 try.

Anyone ever experience this problem?

Check the track for screws loose causing prob
There are several of them- look aroung

 

There may be something int he way , i had this problem

 

The sunroof would not close because there was a piece of rubber preventing it from doing so... this black rubber piece was attached to the black plastic piece that comes up at the front of the sunroof when opened.

Now, I'm not sure how to put the seal back on...

 

Go to any auto upholstry or auto glass shop- they can pop it in for you
