I searched and found a few things like sunroof reset...but I think my issue is bigger.

I had my sunroof all the way open. I pressed the close button and clicked it to automatic. It did fine until it was all the way closed, then made a horrible grinding noise. Now it wont open all the way or close in automatic. It will go closed, then open again.

Also when i get it closed using manual and open it again, it makes a bad click noise. And sounds like a gear or something skipped and it thinks it is closed before it actually is.

 

The roof will not close all the way if something is blocking it(safety feature), so I assume something is stuck in there. Have it opened and inspect any foreign object that may have gotten caught in the system. =O

 

Well it wont open all the way. It will close 100% but then re-open. I will check in the morning tho.
