Is it still raining out?

If not, allow everything to dry first.

I hope you get everything resolved.
For future reference, the KP Window Roll Up module would have saved you from this:

How? I didn't think the KP module had a rain sensor on it. The OP would still have had to realize his sunroof was open and closed it.

That sucks. I hope you get it working.

There are some nights where I'm laying in bed and when it starts to rain I'm like 'oh shit did I close my sunroof/windows?' and go double check on it. Luckily I do always close it by habit but it still gets to me sometimes.

The module does not have a rain sensor, although I have read of others connecting rain sensors to it.
What I meant was a situation like the OP mentions above---with the KP, all you have to do is lock the car and everything closes behind you.

I thought you had to hold the lock button to get the windows to roll up. If that's not the case, I might be more interested in picking one up.

I'm super paranoid about this too. I'm glad it all worked out for you.

Crappy way to learn a lesson!

Thats what I said when I was researching the module, too. Believe me, its easy as pie to hookup.
Mine has worked like a charm since day 1 and it has been installed for over a year now.
Sorry, every so often this topic comes up and I get on my soapbox. I just love this product---one of my most favorite mods.

Ok my ... Same thing JUST happened to me 1 week back.... I had all the same symptoms to include my HFL got the dreaded BOOTING message.... I pulled back the front carpet and vaccumed all the remaining water out of the under barrier... Made a bleach water solution 30/70 and misted all metal under the carpet (just incase any mold tried to take hold.... then I put a dehumidfyer in my front seat ran the power cord thru the rear pass thru and closed the trunk and left everything buttoned up for 24 hrs... Open windows for the following day then got a can of the Damp dry and placed in for the next nite. Good news no more water... even the slight musty smell from the AC unit was gone..... Bad news still the HFL Well believe it or not took it to the Stealership (I have the Acura extended warrenty) And they COVERED the replacement.... My HFL was always a bit screwy but now its brand new!!! Side note the dealer took 2 days with my car so they gave me a Grey 2010 TL w/ Tech package as a loaner..... WOWWWW I know its FUGGLY but that interior!!!!! I love the hardrive burns a copy of any music disc inserted plus connects to Gracenote? to get all artist info. The I-wheel control is not that bad once you figure out what it does and what it controls... And the Back up cam is PURFECT! Would I trade??? Tuff question. I'll say this if I could take the 4G interior and put it in my 3G Body....... FTMFW!!!!

Geez I get pissed when I leave it open and a few leaves fall inside the car. I couldn't image inches of water collecting in the floorboard.

To be honest, I had left my sunroof open in about 40 storms and never had a problem. All I would do after would wipe down the inside of the sunroof from the top and everything else is fine.

Start by getting the KP Module. It closes all of the windows and sunroof when you lock the car with the fob---very convenient.
The windows will roll down if you hold the unlock button on the fob, but they will not automatically close via the fob without the module.
If that is not enough to stop this kind of situation, then I have heard of guys connecting the module to rain sensors, which is the final finishing touch to this mod.
