Stupid little problem

Hello all,
I tried searching but didn't really get anywhere and before i flip out and break something i wanted to check here. I just bought my car and the shift knob has seen better days so I want to swap it out. My question is, is the knob pressed on or screwed on? All the other ones I have ever seen are screwed but I can't figure this one out and don't want to break the collar. Its a type S 6 speed MT. Is there a trick that I am missing here? Is there a set screw in the collar? Im lost

Thanks!

LOL

The boot snaps on at the base of the knob, just pull it down. Then it unscrews.
