Stupid fogs!!!!
Good morning guys, so my frustration went through the roof, but thank God I had guitarplayer16 to help me out through my fog light wiring misery...
So I wired everything as all of the threads state and IM STUCK!
GP16 and I couldnt figure out what is keeping the damn lights on if everything is wired properly.
From Relay, one ground to fog and one power to fog(blue yellow) then spliced and grounded to car. Same goes for other fog.
From Relay blue and red goes to inline fuse to battery.
From the Relay green goes into the cabin through the firewall and connects to green from switch.
From Swith black gets grounded both red wires go nowhere and blue taps into parklights.
So my lights are working with the parking lights flickering on and off when I lock/unlock the car but stay on after and never shut off while parking lights turn off?
Mind you they are also HID.
HELP LOL
Here are a few videos of my setup..

Yea they are not turning off.
They turn off with the switch off and headlights on but then when the headlights turn off they turn back on?
Its like they are being powered somewhere else?
IDK
LOL hopefully you dont run into these issues
Whats up GP I have not had a chance yet, but I looked up other users that have an HID setup and they didnt do anything differently, this is so agravating lol

is there some kind of relay harness you're using with those HIDs?
Also, until you figure out the problem I highly suggest switching to halogens. You're wearing out the ballasts by turning them off and on so frequently.
That's what I did to test out my HID harness in my stock fogs.

Also, you'll want to rewire your switch trigger wire to the ignition wire or the wiper motor wire (constant power) because whenever you lock/unlock your car, the HIDs will flash, which looks cool, but will wear out your HIDs and cause them to fail prematurely.
The only reason why I use the parking light wire for trigger is:
1. I have no plans on using HIDs so flashing halogen bulbs won't hurt them when I lock/unlock. HIDs also produce more glare than there already is with Halogens. I love my Nokya Yellow halogens.
2. It looks cool when I lock/unlock lol

When I wired up my 07-08 lower fogs + HOD kit, I did it independent from the existing wiring and added a switch in the blank next to the mirror adjuster & VSA switch.
The only draw back is to not leave the lights on by accident.
In your case, I would wire it up off the battery to check if your lower fog light wiring (either the loom or HID kit) is bad, or your OEM wiring is bad, or to verify you made a mistake somewhere.

The way we did it in G2 integras was to tap into the defroster switch which would receive power when the ignition was turned on.
I'd say attach the relay and tap the "signal" lead to the ignition wire. Then put the fog light switch logically between the relay and the HID ballasts. That way, when the ignition is turned on, you can switch the HID fogs on independently of the headlights and have them turned off automatically when the ignition is turned off (regardless if the fog switch is "on").
I'm imaging how this would work in practice. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Do any of you guys know the location and color of the ignition wire?
gp16 gave me similar info and it could be that the HID kit is bad but it still doesnt make sense how the HID lights have constant power, its just very confusing but I wont know until I install the halogens.
I will probably get Nokya ignition purple since they are white with a hint of purple.
I was looking at my Purple HIDs which are about 25k and it doesnt look ricey because of the purple theme but sure as hell will cause a lot of attention from the boys in blue
No there is no relay harness but I guess I will have to rewire to ignition as everyone is suggesting but I dont know which wire this is...

done!!!! with the help of nitro I switched out the relays and presto! everything worked i guess there was constant power going to the bulbs since the relays outputs are different. Now I took my purple hid bulbs off looked a bit to cheesy and ordered putco nitro blue for both of my fogs. will post pics when completed.

If you aim your fogs down the lowest they can go via the adjust ment knob, it would reduce glare a bunch!
Post some pics man =)

I had that same problem, I couldn't find my black relay, so I was like screw it the grey one is the same thing. That and i forgot to ground something. but overall congrats on getting it done and fixed. I am happy that its over also. It sucks how simple it seems once you get everything actually wired up.
