Strange Steering Issues--help?

My (2nd) brand new TL has two (possibly related?) steering issues:

1. The steering wheel seems to favor being slightly to the right. In other words, if I am driving down a straight road, I have to hold the wheel close to 1 o'clock to go straight.

2. Also, the steering is jerky when not moving. If I am at a standstill and turn the wheel in one direction or the other, it jerks back the other way.

Notably, I don't notice the car pulling left or right when I cruise with my hands off the wheel.

I've already returned one new TL, and would appreciate any thoughts before I take this back to the dealer for a fix. I am so sick of going to the dealer (and I'm sure they're sick of me too).

Thanks!

maybe its a under/over inflated tire or non-properly balanced tires. As for the jerking back, my TL does the same thing if i am in the drveway just fooling around with the steering wheel.

Thanks for the response. So is the jerky steering while stopped normal for the TL or did we just get the optional "jerky steering" package. I haven't felt this on any other car except my 69 Chevy Impala, which was my first car and had power steering issues and was broken down on the side of the road more often than it was on the road.

just take it to the dealership so they can look at it. That would be the easiest way to solve it.
