Strange corning issue - HELP

I have an 08 TL. Lately when I make a sharp turn the interior light comes on and a bell sound goes "bing', bing", "bing" until the turn smooths out or is less aggressive. Lately the light and the "bing" sound will occur even in a non aggressive turn.

Sounds like a sensor is set too senitively.

Does any one know of this problem and what the fix is?

I also Have an 08 TL and had the same issue. It was the the door ajar sensor. It was bent slightly and the door wasn't making enough contact with it during sharp turns to keep it depressed enough. I straightened it out a little and haven't had an issue with it since. Not sure how it got bent in the first place, but easy fix. BTW, it was my driver side door ajar sensor, I bet if you look down at the cluster while its happening you will see "door open".

Both 2008 year models?... interesting (or maybe not)....

Just curious, were either of your cars ever in a wreck?

My car has never been in an accident of any kind.

I did reposition the "driver's side door ajar sensor" and the problem has not occurred since. Hope that lasts.

Thanks nttstt444
