Stiff power steering

I have a stiff power steering on my 05 acura tl base. We had this for a while but for a couple of weeks I was trying to get to the bottom of it. After reading on the forums on all the recalls and issues for a while I tried out a couple of solutions

- Replace the o-rings ( which solved the issue of whinning sound ).
- Replace power steering pressure switch.

Soon after replacing the power switch and refilling the power steering fluid, for a moment I almost thought the issue was resolved as the steering was much much better. But after taking it for a spin the issue came back. There aren't any marks from oil leaks in my garage ( so I would probably rule it ).

What startles me is how come after replacing the PSP Sw the steering was fine for a couple of tries. At this point I have ran out of ideas on what to try. It would be great if someone can shed light on DIY ideas on what could be checked next.

I would guess that maybe you need to burp the system of any air. Better yet, has the fluid been changed ever? There is a Diy on flushing the system. Not too hard and doesn't take too long. You need about 4-5 pints of Honda PS fluid

Ok guys after changing the o-rings, pressure switch, power steeering fluid flush I decided to change the PSP. I bought the new non OEM part from ebay replaced the core psp and the stiff steering problem is gone and the car rocks...

Not sure how long the PSP will last but I am happy for what it is right now.
