Steering wheel refinishing?

So I purchased an a-spec steering wheel used. I scrubbed the wheel with leather cleaner and the black leather and blue stitching looks new. The silver perforated portion looks gray and there is one spot (on the right pad next to cc switch) that has actually "rubbed" off.

I was thinking of spraying both silver portions with sem color coat but I dont know if that is a good, lasting choice?

any thoughts?

well I thought of that but its only the silver portions, the black leather is fine. I dont really want to spend
$300 to redo the whole wheel if not necessary ya know

How do you get the wheel re done?

Just wondering about your comment death metal man. How can I get my wheel redone? It certainly does not feel as nice as it used to when I first got the car. On a side note I so want to change the light bulbs all around inside like you did, looks friggen sick!!
