steering feels light compared to loaner

I just dropped off my '04 TL w/ navi (auto tranny) and 45,000 miles to paragon acura to have the third gear 30mph shudder checked out and a clunking nosie from the front passenger suspension inspected. They gave me an '06 TL w/o navi for a loaner. As soon as i left with the loaner I noticed the steering feels tighter/heavier. Similar to the steering of a new model bmw. I remember my car use to have a tight steering feel when i just bought it but now it feels light. The rack and pinion was replaced before and so was the power steering pump. I have the stock wheels on the car with toyo proxes 4. Is there any way to make the steering wheel feel tighter like the loaner car? Is it possible to increase the pressure on the pinion gear to achieve a tighter steering wheel? Should i have the tech check the linkages on the steering column? Or is there a way to measure the force required to turn the wheel? Any help from Acura/Honda tech's on the forum or anyone would be appreciated. I did seach but i didnt find a solution.

I'm not sure if there was a revision in the steering system at some point, but my new '07 feels completely different than my old '05.

I'm not sure if it's a Type-S-specific thing or a model year thing, however...

in essence, the 07 base was made more comfy and the tls was made sporty. The 04-06 is in between each.
