Help car won't start I have an 05 tl I got into it this morning an the steering wheel was extremely stiff not only that the brake pedel was too which was completely strange I'm pretty sure it's not the starter I can crank my key but only hear an odd sound that seems to be coming from the steering wheel not sure if I should tow it to the shop of call a locksmith anyone ever experienced this mishap

 

Confused, but when you "crank the key" is the engine turning over or not?

 

No nothing happens expect the dash lighting up sometimes a buzzing sound that sounds like it's coming from the steering wheel🤔🤔🤔

 

Bad ignition switch or bad starter.

That's kinda what I was thinking as well 🙏

 

Have you checked the + battery cable? At this age it might be corroded internally to the point where it can no longer conduct enough juice to start the car.

Yeah the batter an cables are relatively new shop said it was the starter should have her back Friday thank you guys tho.

 

Friday? It's one hour job
