Starting my '07 TL Type S issues
I own a 2007 TL Type S (automatic) and just the other day I started to have issues with my car when I start it. It has 91,000 miles on it and when I start the car now it seems to not turn on instantly like it used to. Now when I flick the key it turns on but it cranks a few time and as it does that it also flickers my gauges on and off. And if thats not all, now my driver presets keep resetting.
To bring you up to speed, I just started working for Acura right out of college for about 2 1/2 months. The other day when this problem first accured I had just finish installing my OEM A-Spec lip kit. So I dont know if that helps in any way. Thank you for your time and info.

Ok. I just went out to eat tonight and when we got to the car I turned it on but didnt start it and started to roll the windows down. I kept hearing this extremely noticeable clicking noise when the automatic windows were functioning and then the noise stayed clicking after me playing with them a few time to hear the sound. It sounded like it was coming from under the hood once it stayed on clicking. So I popped the hood and it sounded like it was coming from the battery area but not sure if it was actually the battery.
I am on my 2 days off from work till Tues. thats why I am putting this on Acurazine, but once I go to work I will be checking it out for sure. Just wanted to see what you guys might think it was so it will save me some time looking and testing.
Thanks again for the help and info.

If its got the original battery I'd change it. Battery's from Honda/Acura are weak/cheap, replace them with Energizer or Costco Kirkland brand battery and see if this issue goes away.
