Hi, all. Just joined as I have a potential weird issue with my 06 TL. When using the regular key I often get a buzzing sound and I have to re-try and turn extra hard to start the car. However when I use a spare key I got cut by one of those companies you see outside of Sam's Club etc., it starts no problem. Could there be an issue with the original key that does this? I find it weird that the new key doesn't have the same issue.

 

old key can be worn down and now having issues making good contact with the key cylinder, or alternatively, can also just be dirty.. can you compare the two keyways to make sure they're good?
