Hey all i need help. I have an 05 auto and my question is does my car have a ''lifetime'' warranty on the srs system? If so is everything covered or just the seat belts and buckles. I have an appointment with the dealer on monday and want to be informed. The SRS light only comes on when i buckle up. If i start the car and don't buckle the light doesn't come on ever. I explained this to the service rep but he said only the diagnostic will tell. Any insight would be appreciated.

 

i believe everything related to the SRS system is covered under the warranty ... this includes airbags, seat belts, seat buckles etc

 

airbags are not cover after the warrenty unless there is a defect. seat belt buckles and belts only. but check your onwers manual. there may be different laws for your state.
