squeeky brakes

i installed rotora rotors and hawk pads back in like october and now they are starting to get really squeeking and its really annoying...any solutions to this??

i heard some pads cause a squeak/squeal but i forgot which ones. maybe you have those pads.

Did you install the Performance Ceramics? Just curious because I bought a set but haven't installed yet.

If you haven't already checked the EBC thread, you might want to. There's a bedding procedure that might fix your problem.

yea i bedded them in properly and no noise for the first few months until about 2 weeks ago....yea they are the performance ceramics

check for glaze if you drive them gently a lot
Then go do a rebed to remove any glaze and buildup

Hawk pads are known for squeaking. That's why I won't run Hawk pads. You can rebed them, but the problem will come back.

Sup pinal! I had the same problem with my set up, squeaking after the first couple thousand miles. I was running Hawk pads with Rotora slotted rotors. I tried bedding them in again a couple times but i couldnt get rid of the squeaking. Gave up and got Rotora Ceramic Pads, they are low dust and quiet but dont have the same stopping power.
Are you running the HPS?

yea im running the hps.....i might have to switch them out and go with rotora ceramic pads if they are queit....and other options that are quiet?

I'm running Rotora H2 ceramic pads and have no noise, almost no dust and great stopping power. first maybe try some disc brake quite grease/spray to save yourself some cash.
