Squealing brakes - 2005 5AT

Recently my brakes started squealing with modest to heavy pressure on the brake pedal (say, slowing down from 35mph to 0 in 50-100 feet, which isn't terribly hard). It seems that light to moderate pressure does not cause any audible squealing, but this is the first time I've heard the squealing.

I don't think the pads are worn out because I just got my B service two months ago and they checked them. There was plenty of padding left.

I've got 13,500 miles on it. Any ideas? (And no, I do not have an MT, so Brembos squealing is a whole different story that's not related to my case)

Squeals are usually caused by debris getting embedded in the pads. If your lucky, it goes away. Else you have to sand or replace the pads.

Or live with the noise.

I got an appointment with the dealership next Wednesday for this issue and others (2 rattles which I've nailed the location and cause, and also a strange sound coming from rolling up the passenger side window). I'll let you guys know how it turns out!

Mine started squeeling in the fronts pretty bad and I brought it back to Acura and they smoothed out the break disc at no charge. The squeel went away and came back again after 1wk of driving. I think it is the break pads Acura is using so next time I bring my car in I am planning to get them to change it.

I have the same problem with the sqeaking noise in the mornings when I first start to leave. I'm probably breaking under 5mph and then it'll make the noise and it'll go away later. So I just had my B service done and they said my pads are in good shape but it's still making noise. It is annoying, but I guess when it's time to replace my pads I will probably replace the pads to another manufacturer. The break dust can cause the noise, but it will come back again later. Maybe WD-40 might get the sqeak out, but I don't know if that will cause any damage to the disc.
If anyone else knows a different solution to this problem, please let me know.
