My rear passenger side seat makes for some reason makes a very annoying squishing sound...it seems like its the outer back/shoulder leather/cushion making the sound

it only happens when somone is sitting in the seat and any movement/bumps on the road makes it start making the sound

does anyone else have this or a similar problem...and/or a solution for this

 

I bet it has to do with one of the bolts under the headreast. Probably loose and since it has a metal bracket it's sliding up and down. Make sure the plastic clips under the bottom of the seat are clipped in...and then tighten ALL 6 10MM bolts. 4 at bottom of seat back and 2 at top. That should stopit.

 

i have a leather on leather noise......so friggin annoying!!!! everyother panel in the car is padded with dacron for sound dampening and rattle control.

 

ooo also check the rear deck....thats always popping up on me....but i think its from my bass lol

try jamming some polyfil under the rear deck...keeps the plastic from bouncing up and down on the metal under it. Even with it not being held firmly in place it killed the rattles dead for me.

 

yea the rear deck is one of the TL's worst faults for rattles n popping up
