A-Spec fitment question

Hi All. I have an A-Spec lip kit on my WDP 07 TL and i see a lot of gaps between the cars body panels and the a-spec kit both front and rear. In particular, the gaps are apparent around the curves. You can't see it from far away but once you are standing next to the car it is pretty obvious and its annoying the heck out of me.

Is this a common issue and thats just the way they fit or do i need to remove my kit and reapply with 3m double sided tape and try again? I currently have it installed on only the factory tape that it came with but i do have a roll of the 3M stuff if I need it.

Thanks in advance for any advice and if needed i can take a picture or two and post it.

if the factory tape wasn't applied properly (IE to cold or the surface was dirty) you will have gaps. The best thing to do is take the kit off and clean off BOTH sides VERY well and apply some HEAVY DUTY 3M double sided tape.
