Hi people i appreciate any comments or advice, yesterday when i started up my car it started to knock along witht the pace or the rpms, so i called off work and tried to see what was going on so i took out the front 3 spark plugs and noticed one of the spark plugs had oil in them and the electrode of the spark plug had broken off so i removed the valve cover just to inspect the valves and they seem to be fine, so i just thought it was a bad spark plug so i put everything back together but when i tried to put in the new spark plug it wouldnt tighten up it would just drop in so im guessing the threads that the spark plug go in was stripped so i put a little thread seal tape just to get grip and see if that was the problem but i havemt started it yet just wondering what you guys think, should i get the head removed and inspected? Thanx.

middle spark plug??
if so, you caught it just in time! The middle spark plug likes to eject and rip out the threads.
repair it with a helicoil kit

I'm going to slide this over to 3G TL to get more/better eyeballs on it. OP, you may want to have a mod there change the title to accurately reflect you're having a spark plug problem...

I used Time-sert to repair my spark plug threads.
I bought a used kit on eBay.
I think it was easier than helicoil.
