So what I woke up too..
I think I'm going to exhaust the normal avenues before getting the news involved. I'm supposed to get a call from the dealership today telling me what Acura says (they claim a 48 hr turnaround is normal). I'll keep you informed on how this goes for me and if it seems like I'm not getting anywhere I'll shoot you my email.
i mean idk what else i can do
and sounds good bud

Well it took longer than I thought it would but I did get a response from Acura. They're going to re-do the dash for $750, the total price before their discount came out to be $1,814.14. Taking it in next Monday for the repair.

but nice to hear that they have worked something out for you!
no clue dude.. thats kinda why i went off b/c it seems like they are helping everybody out but not me. First offer was no help, then they came back with the offer at hand and wont budge from that.

I mean, it's still $700 off, but there has to be a factor that is causing them to stand firm. Maybe you pissed them off with the photobombing? And since the damage has been done they consider it collateral damage and you're not worth paying off to keep them from looking bad? I don't know...

Yeah, please do...
and make note, use LOTS of velcro although the glue on the back will get stuck and melt onto the dash...
also, if you cut out holes for the tweeters, makes it look slightly more custom installed...also remove the brand tag on the front.
