So many problems, and only 25K miles?

Maybe I am being picky, but I've had the following problems in little over a year:

- Left front Window regulator went out
- Right front Window regulator went out
- Front left outside mirror rattle
- Center speaker rattle
- Bluetooth fails to connect to Blackberry Curve 8320 1 out of 4 times on average. No resolution found.
- Left front driver's door inside lever broken, can't open door from inside.
- Transmission fails to go in to third gear when car is cold, mentioned to dealer three times, each time said they could not reproduce the problem (i.e. runaround).
- Carpet behind drivers seat started coming out
- Backing on driver's seat started coming apart
- Whine from HFL (fixed when I showed them the TSB for this).
- Rattle from passengers side front door

And I expect many more. I've gone to Scottsdale Acura, whose Service Dept. is pretty bad in general. Trying Peoria Acura, but I'm not sure if they will do a much better job.

All in all, I'm pretty fed up with all the problems and the dealers unwillingness to fix things. I mean for this expensive a car I don't expect these types of problems. My integra never had anything like this. Any warranty issues were purely cosmetic...nothing close to the level of mechanical issues I have on this car.

Am I being overly critical? I bought this car because I didn't want to spend time repairing things, haha.

Maybe you just got a "bad" one? At least all of your issues is covered under warranty.

the window regulators going out might be related to a fuse issue, did you check them? Also for the curve, did you update the firm-ware and let it update? then handle on the inside has a cable attached to it, it probably came out was left un-installed when the panel was put on/off. The transmission failing to go into gear, there is a TSB on that with a new gear set. As well new honda MTF has been released since last january that helps with the issue. The backing is probably due to a broken clip and so it the carpet.

best of luck on your dealership adventure

Thanks for the advice - I'm going to print the TSB for the transmission and just tell them I want it fixed and see what happens.

Frustrating, but by no means unbearable.

Thanks for the help!

Yo.. Check your state lemon laws!!!

Seriously.. Press the dealership that you are sick and tired of the runaround..

Tell them you're going to the state attorney's consumer protection agency and to the BBB. Tell them you want a new car!!

Total B.S.. They're just hoping you'll keep the car until the warranty expires and then your SOL.
