Smoking/burning in front of engine

Whenever I turn my car on it starts smoking a little bit and smells like something is burning kinda like rubber coming from right infront of the engine, any ideas what is causing this?

Smoking and burning smell right around where those wires are

Most likely a leaking valve cover gasket; oil is leaking down to the exhaust collector and what you smell is the burning oil..

It seems like a valve cover leak. I had a similar issue in my 08 TL-S last year.

Valve cover gaskets, and for the love of god do a valve adjustment while you're there.
