Silver flecks in Leather

Starting to notice small silver flecks in the places where hands come in contact with leather.
Specifically the top of the steering wheel and the shift knob.
Anyone have this problem or seen it before?

I should be so lucky....
I am the only driver and don't use hand lotion.
