I also, have a new rattle that sounds like it's coming from the vent to the left of the steering wheel. i've had the dealership "fix" the rattle behind my driver side mirror, but i still hear it from time to time.

does anyone know what's causing the sunroof rattle? I'm taking my car in for some other issues on Tuesday and i'm going to take them for a drive to see if i can recreate the sunroof rattle. as usual it probably won't happen until i'm on my way home. either way, i'll let you know what i find out.
Fix: for over head rattles....

I had the same problem. It is caused by sunshade mirror light, it is the light that comes on when you use the mirror.

So here is the fix:
If you vibrate the light with your hand you feel that the light is lose from the sealing, it is not mounted. You need to put something in between the light and the sealing to stop it from vibrating. First open the sunroof, on around the edge there is enough space for you put your hand between the sealing and shel. So take a foam or cloth and put it between the light and the sealing. DONE!

Hope this helps and let me know if it works.

The overhead rattle in my car was the sunroof which was loose within the housing. It stopped rattling when slightly open, but when closed it rattled. The dealer replaced the glass&frame under the warranty.
Also rattling were the vanity mirror covers. I added clear silicone bumpers (from my kitchen cabinets) under the covers so the covers stopped touching the mirror - that worked for both vanity mirrors.
The solution for the rear seatbelt rattle is to buckle it - rattle gone in my car (I may be a lucky one).

*Center Console slider (When it is closed it vibrates, so I have to leave it open)

*Rear decklid vibrates from bass (I have a nice bass test CD that rattles everything at 70hz back there, so have the CD set to the exact track with repeat for the dealer to listen to why they fix my damn rear deck lid. Dealer took this apart 3 times and it still vibrates. It's better than it was. They put insulation tape on the seatbelt tensioners, all around the subwoofer, around each clip, and around the trunk light.

And yes, the dealer thinks I am anal.
