Side mirrors out of alignment NOT because they aren't adjusted

So i got to my car in the parking lot and noticed that my mirror was bent forward. Great, some dick head kicked my mirror. I look at it no real damage. I pull it back and I'm getting dizzy looking at it.

I'm driving back at night and I cannot tell where the cars are in my side mirror. It looks like they have 3 headlights. I check the passenger mirror and it's fine. I move it around a little bit but mirror moves but the object in the mirror doesn't move. So it's not my eyes.

When I adjust the driver side mirror the one that was bent up it just gets more wonky, looks like people have improperly aimed headlights all the time.

I did the camera 1 and camera 2 trick with my eyes, you know when you close 1 eye and then close the other, wayne's world? yeah, so the difference from the passenger mirror is maybe 1/4 an inch, the difference on the driver side is about 4 inches.

I moved my head around, tilted it, shifted my head up and down, slouched, and sat up straight, and I couldn't get it to align properly.

So yeah, it looks like somethings up with my side mirror. NOT because it's not adjusted, I simply cannot look at the mirror with out getting dizzy.

So i am guessing since you didnt say it, the mirrors are not cracked? Do you see anything physically wrong with either mirror? The passenger mirror has a slight curve to it so that you can see objects better. Thats why it has that message put on it.

Does the dr side mirror have the full range of motion when adjusted side to side or up and down?

To me it sounds like its been moved on the mount in the mirror and acting just like the interior mirrors on cars that have the little handle you push so the light from behind dont blind you. You will notice on them everything seems out of focus too.

Move the mirror the full range side to side to find center. Do the same up and down.

If you find it won't go full range reach out and push on it .. it will move on the mounts. I have knocked mine goofy a few times.
