Side air bag light

So I got my SRS light problem fix the other week and what I was told the driver side airbag has been deployed, not a surprise, car has been in an accident.

now the weird thing is, I notice right from the start that the Side air bag light above trip computer is blinking (wasn't before).

Now the weirder thing is, it's only on and blinking whenever somebody sits in the passenger seat before i start the car, If i start the car or the car was started before somebody sits down in the passenger seat, it doesn't blink, what's the problem? should i be worried? I ask the dealer if there were any more problems with the airbag and they say that "only" the driver side airbag is the one we need to fix...

Any advice guys?

could also need to replace the srs module if it hasnt alrdy been done. it must be replaced after any deployment for airbags or seat belt pretensioners

They replace the SRS sensor so is that the module you're talking about?
