shifting problem

shifting problem

I have an 07 tl-s... automatic... whenever i drive tiptronic it shifts for me... once in a while its fine.. but most of the time it shifts by itself... not even at red line.. just normal driving... the tanny flud has just been changed too... anyone??

I would just go to the dealer as you're still under warranty. Make sure you 'practice' how to re-create the issue or they won't do jack shit.

Had the same issue turned out that coffee spilled near the shifter , dripped own into the the little white box that contains a circuit board and contacts for what gear you want. I've spilled coffee before but it turned out the wife spilled a bit and didn't mention and it ended up dripping onto that board causing gear shifts at different speeds.

ya its messed up... sometimes i wanna hold a gear and it just shift up.. wth

^^ this or something like it. It's probably a switch or sensor problem.


Same car here and no issues.
