Just starting Monday afternoon my 08 TL has a problem shifting it's stuck in park forcing me to put my other in the shift release to get it out of park, but then when I drive and have try to put it back in park or reverse its gets stuck again forcing me to put my key in the shift release.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

 

28900-RYF-023 SENSOR ASSY., POSITION or 54040-SEC-A81 SOLENOID ASSY., AT SHIFT LOCK would be my guess... Bad sensor.

about how much would service and labor be? I wanna get rid of this car asap

 

I'd expect an hours worth of labor? Why do you want to get rid of the car?
